May Greenhouse Society

Hi!  I have another card to share that I made using the May Greenhouse Society set from Technique Tuesday.  It features a pretty image, with very useful sentiments.  I love it!

Here is my card:

I heat embossed the image on white cardstock, using clear embossing powder.  Then I sponged Distress Inks (the new spring colors) on the entire piece of cardstock.   Sparkly dimensional stickers were added to the centers.

Be sure to check out the rest of the DT's projects on the Technique Tuesday Blog!

If you look closely, you can see that I used music notes from the GLEE set to stamp in the background.    I used Tim Holtz Distress Inks to stamp the images, and also for the sponging.  Distress Stickles were also added to the image.

CIC51 Oink Oink

Hello Everyone!

I am sharing a card today that I made for the CIC51 What Goes Up, Must Come Down Challenge from Clear Dollar Stamps!  You can find more info on the Clear Dollar Stamps Blog!!

I used the adorable digi from Clear Dollar Stamps called CHUTES, which was illustrated by Lisa Lara.  Isn't he just too cute???

Here is my card:

I printed the image on patterned paper for the chute image, and printed also on white cardstock for the pig and sentiment.  The pig was colored using Copic Markers, and edges sponged with kraft color ink.  Instead of using the parachute strings that print with the image, I used cotton DMC thread.

Supplies: Chutes digi from Clear Dollar Stamps; Dark Chocolate and White cs (PTI); Coredinations cs; This & That Charming Collection (Echo Park); Walnut Distress Ink; Crumb Cake Ink (SU); Copics R00, RV11; Cloud Die (PTI); Present Die (QuicKutz); Ray Embossing Folder (Sizzix); Button, Twine, DMC Cotton Thread, Sanding Block
