Hello!
I am back with another card for the CAS-ual Fridays CFC33 Challenge. This time I am using the free digi stamp offered by Market Street Stamps.
The CAS-ual Fridays Challenge is to use kraft and twine. Two of my favorites!!
My card:
What a sweet little coffee cup image this is!! I colored the image with copic markers, then cut it out and popped it up on the card. The little dots were part of the image, but I had cut them off of the cup image... so I pierced the original to trace it onto my card base, then used a fine point marker to make the dots.
Sentiment is from a Fiskars set called Latte Love. I will use this card for a Valentine for my husband. I like that it is not the typical Valentine colors, especially the black heart. haha
Thanks for stopping in today!!
Kris

Happy New Year!
Happy New Year Everyone!
I took some time for myself today, and made a couple cards for the CAS-ual Fridays CFC33 Challenge.
I needed a couple Thank You cards for Christmas gifts we received. Yes, I have a ton of Thank You cards in my stash... but I wanted a winter theme... and it was more fun making new ones!

I made two similar cards. I am constantly saving cool packaging things... and these coffee sleeves from Panera have been on my desk for months. I like that they have a polka dot pattern instead of the common corrugated ones.
First card:
I used a Christmas Tree die from QuicKutz to cut the tree from the coffee sleeve. I had originally intended on using the back side, without the Panera logo. But when I cut it, I thought that it added a cool design element and looked kinda artsy. I did not use the star that was on the die... I liked the recycling emblem, and added that to the top to make a "star". I curled the twine around a paint brush, then damped slightly with stamp cleaner (besides coffee, it was the only liquid within reach! haha). Card is 3 x 6.

On this card, I used a "snow pen" around the edges of the tree. Then heat embossed it to puff it up. Added cute little twine bows to finish it off.
What? No stamping on either of these cards... and did not even use any ink at all! How do you make a card without stamps or ink?? Haha... Better get back to my craft room and get my inky fix!
Thanks for stopping by today!!

CAS-ual Fridays Redo
Back again... I just had to redo my card for the CAS-ual Fridays "Over The Edge" Challenge! My original card HERE just seemed TOO BUSY to be CAS, and the monkey got lost in the background paper.
Ahhhh, so much better!!
The orange twine is a RAK from my friend Char, and the cloud paper and polka dot paper are both from my friend Lisa. Thank you, girlies!! :)

CAS-ual Fridays
Hello! I have a card to share that I made for the CAS-ual Fridays "Over The Edge" Challenge.
The monkey is from the fun Changito Birthday set by Stampendous.
Clouds were made using cloud die from Papertrey Ink. Sentiment is from Paper Smooches.

I chose a big balloon as my element to go "over the edge". The balloon is from the George Cricut cartridge. I thought the background paper from October Afternoon's Campfire line was just perfect for this card. I wanted it to look like the monkey was being carried away by the balloon!
