Here is my card:

Well, I finally got the hexagon nestie dies.  Yep, this pretty much guarantees that the hexagon craze is over.  haha.  Oh well.  I use alot of *old* product, so this works for me!  :)

The sunflower was stamped on watercolor paper using brown Stazon ink.  I colored the image with Watercolor Crayons from Technique Tuesday.

That's it for today!  Thanks for stopping by!

Broadway Bound! by Hambo Stamps

Welcome to "Broadway Bound!" sponsored by Hambo Stamps! Today Hambo customers and the Bacon Bits Design Team are bringing you fun creations that depict Broadway show titles! It might be our favorite, or just one that was fun to design. If you arrived here from Melissa's Blog, then you are in the right place! If not, you might want to start back at the beginning at the Hambo blog to make sure you are eligible for the hopper prize!

A prize will be awarded to one participant whose Broadway-themed creation tickles the Bacon Bits’ fancy in a hammin’ jammin’ way!  Another prize will be awarded randomly to a hopper who comments on all of the blogs along the way. The winners will be announced on the Hambo company blog, Talk to the Ham, on Tuesday, September 25. We love comments anytime, but the deadline for prize entry comments is Sunday, September 23 at 5 PM CST. Don't miss it!

OK, enough of the details...  Now on to my card!  I chose the musical JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT.  I love Joseph!!  My sons are all familiar with the songs, because they heard me playing them when they were young.  So two years ago, I took them all to the broadway production, and we all enjoyed it so much!!

The "coat of many colors" was obviously my inspiration for my card.  And my son Jeff will be happy to see that I left out the color BROWN !! haha  He always emphasizes the word BROWN in the line from Joseph's Coat that says "It was red and yellow and green and BROWN and blue".  Put's a smile on my face just thinking about it!  :)

My card:

I used the super cute MOUSE PAINTER Digi Stamp from Hambo Stamps.

Here is the BLOG HOP order:

Now dance on over to Deanne for another great Broadway show!

Thanks so much for HOPPING with us today!!

Chevrons!

Hello!  I am sharing a couple cards that I made using one of Technique Tuesday's new sets called CHEVRONS.  There are many chevron styles in this set!  Check it out!

My first card uses CHEVRONS and SMILE BIG:

And when I was done with that card, and putting away the chevron stamp, it was all bendy in my hand.  That was when I had the idea to use the chevron to make a sun.

So here is my second card:

I used CHEVRONS for the sun rays and the grass.  The flowers are actually palm trees from the THINK VACATION set.  The smiley face is from SMILE BIG, and the sentiment comes from BRIGHT IDEA.

Be sure to visit Technique Tuesday's Blog for more Chevron projects today!!

Have a Happy Day!!

IC354 Tail-Wagging Birthday

Hi! I'm playing along in the IC354 Inspiration Challenge over on Splitcoast Stampers, and also the Repetition Challenge in the Moxie Fab World.

My inspiration piece is this dress from Wild Things Dresses:

Here is my card:

The colors are so much better in person.  I used red, hot pink, orange, and turquoise ink.  So fun stamping the dog in those bright colors.  I love to color, but this was a fun change!

I used a rubber stamp from Hambo Stamps called "DOG", and the sentiment is from the digi image "BAILEY CUPCAKE".

Thanks for stopping by today!
