CHF Challenge - Shaped Card

Hello and WELCOME to another Cornish Heritage Farms Challenge!!  I am the hostess this week, and my challenge is to make a SHAPED CARD.   Check out all the details on the Cornish Heritage Farms Blog, and be sure to play along!!

I used the Scarecrow Digital Image from Cornish Heritage Farms.  I colored it with Copic markers.  The pumpkin was made by cutting 5 ovals using nestie dies, then ran them through the embossing folder.

CHF08 Challenge - Circles, Circles, Circles!

Hello and WELCOME to another Cornish Heritage Farms Challenge!!  Our hostess this week is Dianne Beans, and her challenge is Circles, Circles, Circles!   Check out all the details on the Cornish Heritage Farms Blog, and be sure to play along!!

Here is my card:

I used a digi image from Cornish Heritage Farms called OWL SILHOUETTE.  I thought it was perfect for this challenge, since the image was already in the shape of a circle!  I colored around the image with a watercolor crayon, and then cut out (I printed two) and popped up the owl part of the image.  The papers are from last years My Mind's Eye collection.

That's it!  Super quick and easy.  That seems to be my style lately!!

Animals! Cornish Heritage Farms Challenge

I used digi images from Cornish Heritage Farms:  ALL EARS DOG DIGITAL STAMP, and WOOF DIGITAL  STAMP.  Bad planning (low printer ink) resulted in the image being printed in grey instead of black.  But I kinda like it for a change!  I very lightly colored with a grey copic marker.  A quick CAS card.

For my summer theme card, I used the Cat in the Flowerpot Digital Image from Cornish Heritage Farms.    This cute little guy is being naughty, but he is having fun!  :)   Image was colored with Copic markers, and ink was sponged around the edge of the nestie die.

I used the fun image from Cornish Heritage Farms called "Birthday Dog".  Isn't he cute??  Love him.  I used Copic markers to color the image.  The polariod shape and push pin are both from a Quickutz die.  Paper is from a  really old DCWV Pet Stack.

CHF03 Pearls and Lace

Here is my card:

I used the rubber stamp set ANTIQUES (butterfly and key) from Cornish Heritage Farms, and the sentiment is a digi stamp called HAPPY ANNIVERSARY from Cornish Heritage Farms.

I cut the number 50 from white cardstock, using my Cricut.  Then I used a gold dauber paint to sponge on the color.  The butterflies were stamped using the same ink/paint.

CHF01 Challenge - Anything Goes!

I used both digi stamps and a rubber stamp.  The digis are THREE CHICKS and HEY CHICKIE.  The background was done using the CHICKEN WIRE BACKGROUNDER (rubber stamp).

Cornish Heritage Farms Blog Hop!

I am excited to share the cards that I made using the Chicken Wire (2726) Backgrounder stamp.  I had so much fun making them both!  I also used the digi image CHICKEN 1, and the sentiments Take Time to Enjoy Life, and Best Wishes.

 I stamped the rooster using Memento ink, then colored with Copic markers. 

I stamped the chicken wire background onto watercolor paper using brown Stazon ink, then watercolored some of the hexagons.   The flowers were punched from the sleeve from take out coffee .  

Yep, I save everything!  :)

Cornish Heritage Farms - Sneak Peak Day 4

Hello!!  Welcome back for DAY 4 sneak peeks from Cornish Heritage Farms!!  Be sure to come back tomorrow for the big release and blog hop!!

I used the new Cornish Heritage Farms rubber backgrounder stamp called PEACOCK TOILE.  (Available on April 19th).   I stamped the image with Versamark ink, then heat embossed using black embossing powder.  Then I watercolored the images, and accented with stickles.  I struggled photographing both cards I made with this background!  I think they look better in person, but that is usually the case with all cards!  :)

Some Exciting News!

Hello Everyone!

I have some exciting news to share...  I was recently chosen to be a part of the Cornish Heritage Farms Design Team!  For now, there are lots of digital images available on their site, but there will be rubber images released on April 19.  Be sure to join us on that date for our first Blog Hop!!   The entire DT is listed on my side bar...  check out the talent!

Today I am sharing a card that I made that was part of my entry for the design team.  I used the digital image "Flower WheelBarrow", and the gingham backround is from one of their old backgrounder stamps that I *hope* will be re-released!!
