The Stamping Techs at Technique Tuesday were inspired by this photo provided by our DT leader Teri:
I am a knitter, so of course I had to go with the knitting theme. I used Knit Wits, Cat's Meow, and Tree-mendous stamp sets from Technique Tuesday to make this card:
Then, while I was making my card... I had another idea, so I decided to get it out of my head:
I used the same border stamp from Knit Wits using the ink colors of Bashful Blue, Certainly Celery and Real Red. The stamp is super easy to line up! The cat is from Cat's Meow, and the mouse and sentiment are from Little Peanut.
Thanks for visiting today!!

ReplyDeleteAs a knitter, these were definitely my favorite ones! I just love the textures of the yarn and the ribbon in Cool Cat.Thanks for the inspiration!
ReplyDeleteMy daughter is begging my to make this kitty card...I love the "friends" card as well. Is the red/green string baker's twine or yarn? I would love to have some. Thanks for sharing your beautiful ideas!
ReplyDeleteYes, it is baker's twine! It is a holiday color, but I thought it worked perfect here!
DeleteGreat ideas. Guess
ReplyDeleteYou are a knit wit!

Cute Cat....great inspiration!
ReplyDeleteBoth of your cards are adorable!
ReplyDeleteI love the kitty with the hat - his face is darling! I like that the twine picks up the color in his little cap!
ReplyDeleteGreat cat with a great hat! Love the cards.
ReplyDeleteKris, I absolutely LOOOOOVE these cards. I am partial to the sock monkey too. My 23 y.o. daughter has lived with being called "Monkey" all her life. She is now expecting a baby in May and has requested a sock monkey. How neat would it be to be able to present it to her with a card made from one of your card ideas? Whether I won the monkey or not, I'll have to make one up as a gift. Thanks for the ideas and hard work.
ReplyDeleteSuch a cute kitty cat...a cold weather one, at that! (Didn't mean to rhyme...all I had to do was add "hat!") Anyway, very cute card!
ReplyDeleteSo cute Kris. I just love that hat image. Cute....cat wearing a warm hat. Love your scene.
