CAS176 How's Everything

Hello!

I have a sneak peak to share with you!!  This adorable digi image is called "KANGAROO" and will be available from Hambo Stamps this Wednesday!

It's been so long since I've played in the CAS Challenge on SCS.  One of my favorites!

I used Prismacolor pencils to color the image.   Cardstock is Summer Sunrise (PTI), and Poppy Parade (SU).  Patterned paper is Everyday Flair (MME).

CIC54 Red, Green & White

Signed, Sealed, and Delivered

Hello!  Today I am sharing some cards that I made using the newest line of stamps from Technique Tuesday, called the Signed, Sealed and Delivered Collection.  I used the Cap & Gown Seal and also the little star from the USA Seal.

I made graduation cards.  I used colors that matched the graduates school colors.  They are 3x6 cards...  perfect for a $$ gift to fit inside.  I kept the design CAS, and whipped up a bunch of theses really  quick!

Hambo Hoedown

Hello!  It's time for another HAMBO HOEDOWN CHALLENGE!!!  You can get all the details for the challenge on the HAMBO HOEDOWN BLOG.

This is challenge number 71, and we are using the adorable Bailey Liberty digi stamp.  Our challenge this week is to use any technique from the Resource Section on Splitcoast Stampers.  I chose the Direct To Paper technique.  I used Night of Navy ink for the sky, and Island Indigo ink for the water.

Here is my card:

I cut the skyline using my Cricut.  I used Prismacolor pencils to color the image, and blended with gamsol.   Added gold stickles to the torch.

Bring On The Sun

Hello!

Today I am sharing a card that I made using the fun BRING ON THE SUN BY ALI EDWARDS set by Technique Tuesday.  This set has lots of great sentiments, quotes, and a few images too!

I embossed a piece of Peach Parfait cardstock using a Tim Holtz/Sizzix embossing folder called Rays.  I colored the sun rays using shades of orange and yellow Watercolor Crayons by Technique Tuesday, then blended with water.  I love using orange, and the polka dots just make me happy!

CHF03 Pearls and Lace

Here is my card:

I used the rubber stamp set ANTIQUES (butterfly and key) from Cornish Heritage Farms, and the sentiment is a digi stamp called HAPPY ANNIVERSARY from Cornish Heritage Farms.

I cut the number 50 from white cardstock, using my Cricut.  Then I used a gold dauber paint to sponge on the color.  The butterflies were stamped using the same ink/paint.

This was my first time ever playing with the Zva Creative gems!!  Oh, they are soooo pretty and fun to design with!

Here is my fist card:

I started out with one of the smaller gem clusters, since it was my first time using them!  The butterfly is from the set TAKE FLIGHT, the frame is from SWANKY SENTIMENTS, and the sentiment is from the APRIL GREENHOUSE SOCIETY, all from TECHNIQUE TUESDAY.

My second card:

I was ready to move on to one of the big gem designs!  So pretty!  I again used the butterfly from TAKE FLIGHT, and the sentiment is from SIMPLY YOU, both from TECHNIQUE TUESDAY.

You should have arrived to my blog from WINDY ROBINSON  and your next stop on the hop will be ROBIN SHAKOOR.  

And it just wouldn't be a HOP without prizes!!

CDS Digi Release

It's time for new digis from CLEAR DOLLAR STAMPS!  There are some really fun ones this month!  All the info can be found on the CLEAR DOLLAR STAMPS BLOG.

My first project uses the adorable  "TWEET HOUSE" (illustrated by Lisa Lara):

I paper-pieced, and also colored with copics.  The edges were sponged with ink.   Those birds are just too cute!

My next project uses the new digi image "HELIUM HELLOS" (also by Lisa Lara), and I also used the cute little bear from "HAPPY TRAILS CAMPER":

I was dissapointed that my red copic bled...   Next time I will print the image a second time, color and cut out, then pop up on the card.  Live and learn...  :)   I still had fun combining these sets, and am happy with this card, even with the bleeding ink.

June Greenhouse Society

Hello!  It is time for Technique Tuesday's June Greenhouse Society release!  I have really been enjoying these monthly Greenhouse sets!  Check out the Technique Tuesday Blog for all the details.

Here is my card:

I used the Top Note die to cut the panel for my image.  I used a brayer for the yellow and oranges, then I stamped the image using brown ink.  The green and brown ink was sponged on the bottom.

Hambo Hoedown

Hello and Welcome to the HAMBO HOEDOWN CHALLENGE 70.  This week we are using the Hambo Stamps Digi Image called "NUN", and we are using only the colors black and white!  That is definitely a challenge for me!!

Here is my card:

I have a hard time coloring/shading using black.  I used Prismacolor pencils here, blended with Gamsol.  The cross was made using the Modern Label Punch.
