The “Spring” Technique Tuesday Blog Hop

Hello Everyone!

Is it "Spring" in your part of the world??  We had (and you probably did too) a most AWESOME March here in Minnesota, and now April is sending us back to reality!!  

So today it is a SPRING themed hop with the Technique Tuesday Stamping Techs!!  For my project, I used the set called SPRING.  (How's that for being creative??  haha)

Here is my card:

The umbrella and rainboots were stamped on white cardstock, colored with Copic markers, then cut out.

Congrats Grad

Hello!

It is almost here....  Graduation season.  I have several Grad parties to attend this year, so I am sharing a couple grad cards that I made.  I used the PENCIL TALK set from CLEAR DOLLAR STAMPS.

Here is my first card:

The pencils were printed on watercolor paper and then colored with Copic markers.

And another one:

I cut the "GRAD" letters from a piece of (old) patterned paper.  

The pencil digi was printed on cardstock and colored with Copic markers.

Greenhouse Society

Hello!  I have another card to share that uses the new Greenhouse Society stamps from Technique Tuesday.  This is a new monthly club featuring awesome flower stamps.  April is the first month...  find out all the info here:  Greenhouse Society Blog.

My card:

I went with a totally different look from the last card that I made using this set.  I wanted to just stamp the flowers in colored ink.  Then I used a pearlescent paint diluted with water to accent the flowers.  Black stickles were added to the center of the flowers.  A super easy CAS card.

I am excited to share the cards that I made using the Chicken Wire (2726) Backgrounder stamp.  I had so much fun making them both!  I also used the digi image CHICKEN 1, and the sentiments Take Time to Enjoy Life, and Best Wishes.

 I stamped the rooster using Memento ink, then colored with Copic markers. 

I stamped the chicken wire background onto watercolor paper using brown Stazon ink, then watercolored some of the hexagons.   The flowers were punched from the sleeve from take out coffee .  

Yep, I save everything!  :)

Cornish Heritage Farms - Sneak Peak Day 4

Hello!!  Welcome back for DAY 4 sneak peeks from Cornish Heritage Farms!!  Be sure to come back tomorrow for the big release and blog hop!!

I used the new Cornish Heritage Farms rubber backgrounder stamp called PEACOCK TOILE.  (Available on April 19th).   I stamped the image with Versamark ink, then heat embossed using black embossing powder.  Then I watercolored the images, and accented with stickles.  I struggled photographing both cards I made with this background!  I think they look better in person, but that is usually the case with all cards!  :)

Clear Dollar Stamps Digi Release

It's time for the new release of digi stamps at Clear Dollar Stamps!  Be sure to check out the Clear Dollar Stamps Blog too!

My first card using the digi "SPLASH":

 I watercolored the fish using ink from inkpad and water with a paintbrush.  

Stickles were added to some of the scales. 

And my second card using the digi "FARM CRITTERS":

I colored the image using copic markers.  Added a popsicle stick and raffia for a rustic touch.

Hello!!  Welcome back for DAY 3 sneak peeks from Cornish Heritage Farms!!

I used the new Cornish Heritage Farms rubber backgrounder stamp called PEACOCK TOILE.  (Available on April 19th).  The BEST WISHES sentiment is already available as a digi stamp on the website.  I stamped the image, then sprayed with a pearl colored smooch spray.  Purple colored stickles were added to the peacock too.

Greenhouse Society Reveal

It's the big kickoff of the new Greenhouse Society stamps from Technique Tuesday!!  There is a new stamp set each month, and they all have a flower or nature theme.  They are SO great!  Check out the Technique Tuesday Blog for more info, and more projects using this set!

Here is my card using the set for April:

I used watercolor crayons (available from Technique Tuesday) and colored directly on the stamp.  Then I lightly sprayed water onto the stamp, then stamped image on my paper.  I highlighted around the flowers using chalk.

CIC49 Wanna Do Lunch?
