This was our inspiration photo:
Here is my card:
I used the bird and the branch from the Hang Ups set, colored simply with Copic Markers. The sentiment is from Birthday Buddies. I cut the sentiment apart, so I could use the word "Happy" alone. To make the word "Happy" a lighter color gray, I stamped it off first on scratch paper, then again onto the card.
The twine frames the card by using a really OLD punch that I think was called Southwest Corner punch. It was all the rage about 8-10 years ago. At the LSS that I worked at, we couldn't keep them in stock. We called it the "Fiber" punch. :)
Thanks for visiting today!
Fibers. A blast from the past!ReplyDelete
This is really cute, and these tall cards are always a good way to give a gift of cash.
Oh now this is adorable Kris. Love how you stacked these birds and love the twine border.ReplyDelete
Cute card Kris! I have not heard of a 'Fiber' punch before but the twine frame looks great and I love the stacked birds. Thanks so much for joining us at Paper Smooches SPARKS challenge :)ReplyDelete
