Augie & Stevie!

Hi Stamping Friends!!

I am SO EXCITED!!!  My super awesome talented friend Lisa Lara designed digi stamps for CDS that are MY DOGS!!!   How fun is that??!!  I may be a bit biased...  but they are SOOOO CUTE!!

On the left is Augie.  He is just a little guy...  a Chihuahua/Dachshund mix.  A Chiweenie!  haha
We adopted him last October from PetHaven.  A few months later, Stevie (from Secondhand Hounds) came to join our family.  He is a sweetie!  (Even though he steals socks!!)  Stevie is a Boxer/Hound/? mix.   Seriously...  I have the two cutest dogs in the world!  :)

See??  I told you they were cute!!!

CDS Digi Release

It's time for new digis from CLEAR DOLLAR STAMPS!   All the info can be found on the CLEAR DOLLAR STAMPS BLOG.

My first card uses the SHEEPIES Digital Image, illustrated by Austin Owens.  How adorable is that little sheep??   The background is also part of the digi set.  I printed in a light grey color, for a more subtle effect.  Image was colored with Copic markers.  I drew in the grass.  Poloroid die is from QuicKutz.  Love that thing!

Second card:

I made a pocket card using the OLIVER OSTRICH Digi Image.  Image was colored with Copic Markers.

CIC55 Some Like It Hot

Here is my card:

I used the new digi from Clear Dollar Stamps called "SCOOPS" - designed by Lisa Lara.  I kept my card very simple.  Image is colored with Copic markers, and Stickles were added to the scoops.  A little button was placed on top for a cherry.

CAS176 How's Everything

Hello!

I used the fun CHARLIE HORSE digi image from Clear Dollar Stamps.  Isn't he cute?!  The image comes with that cute doodled frame around him.

CIC54 Red, Green & White

CDS Digi Release

It's time for new digis from CLEAR DOLLAR STAMPS!  There are some really fun ones this month!  All the info can be found on the CLEAR DOLLAR STAMPS BLOG.

My first project uses the adorable  "TWEET HOUSE" (illustrated by Lisa Lara):

I paper-pieced, and also colored with copics.  The edges were sponged with ink.   Those birds are just too cute!

My next project uses the new digi image "HELIUM HELLOS" (also by Lisa Lara), and I also used the cute little bear from "HAPPY TRAILS CAMPER":

I was dissapointed that my red copic bled...   Next time I will print the image a second time, color and cut out, then pop up on the card.  Live and learn...  :)   I still had fun combining these sets, and am happy with this card, even with the bleeding ink.

CDS May Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Clear Dollar Stamps May Blog Hop!  Our theme this month is "SOMETHING WITH WINGS"

Here is my card:

The bee image is from the Clear Dollar Stamps Digi "BUMBLES" and the sentiment is from the digi "TURTLE GREETINGS".  I used vellum with pearly colored shimmer paint to really make the wings the stand out.  It made it really hard to photograph though!  :)

Clear Dollar Stamps New Digis

This card has the fold on top.  A simple cut and fold makes the collar.  The tie fit perfectly.

CIC51 Oink Oink

Hello Everyone!


I am sharing a card today that I made for the CIC51 What Goes Up, Must Come Down Challenge from Clear Dollar Stamps!  You can find more info on the Clear Dollar Stamps Blog!!

I used the adorable digi from Clear Dollar Stamps called CHUTES, which was illustrated by Lisa Lara.  Isn't he just too cute???

Here is my card:

I printed the image on patterned paper for the chute image, and printed also on white cardstock for the pig and sentiment.  The pig was colored using Copic Markers, and edges sponged with kraft color ink.  Instead of using the parachute strings that print with the image, I used cotton DMC thread.

Congrats Grad

Hello!

It is almost here....  Graduation season.  I have several Grad parties to attend this year, so I am sharing a couple grad cards that I made.  I used the PENCIL TALK set from CLEAR DOLLAR STAMPS.

Here is my first card:

The pencils were printed on watercolor paper and then colored with Copic markers.

And another one:

I cut the "GRAD" letters from a piece of (old) patterned paper.  

The pencil digi was printed on cardstock and colored with Copic markers.

Clear Dollar Stamps Digi Release

My first card using the digi "SPLASH":

 I watercolored the fish using ink from inkpad and water with a paintbrush.  

Stickles were added to some of the scales. 

And my second card using the digi "FARM CRITTERS":

I colored the image using copic markers.  Added a popsicle stick and raffia for a rustic touch.

CIC49 Wanna Do Lunch?

More Exciting News...

Hello!  I have MORE news to share...   I was asked to join the Clear Dollar Stamps Digital Design Team!

And that is not all...  My friend Lisa Lara has designed her first digi stamps, and they are available with the new releases TODAY!!   I have been fortunate to have some of Lisa's original doodles, and am so happy that she is finally able to share her talents with everyone!  Congrats, Lisa!!  I'm so excited for you!!!  You can see all the new releases today on the Clear Dollar Stamps Blog.

So, of course I chose one of Lisa's cute images for my card today!  This one is from the set called "Cheeps".

I paper pieced the bird image, and colored the branch with Copic markers.  The papers are from Everyday Flair and Dilly Dally (My Mind's Eye).  The sentiment was hand cut...  just followed the curve.
